The Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project SERAP Nigeria has urged the President of Nigeria Muhammadu Buhari to apply obedience to win the hearts and minds of Nigerians. As the situation in Nigeria have deteriorated with the nation facing massive killings, high poverty rate, unemployment among the youths, insecurity of lives and properties and terrorism which is ravaging the country.   SERAP have hinted on nine points necessary for the President to apply to achieve success in his leadership. 2019 AFCON: Nigeria Defeats South Africa ~ Eberechy's Blog

The Super Eagles of Nigeria have defeated South Africa Bafana Bafana in the 2019 Africa Cup of nations (Afcon) with a two goal to one by South African football team. Nigeria had in the first half through Samuel Chukwueze took the lead against South Africa. While Bongani Zungu of Bafana was awarded with a goal as VAR rules in favour of Bafana Bafana bringing it to a score of    1-1 In the first half. However, with the match looking to head into extra time William Troost-Ekong had to force the ball into the bar and gave Nigeria a win in the match.

PDP Strikes As Gbajabiamila Releases Fake Minority Leaders ~ Eberechy's Blog

The Peoples Democratic Party of Nigeria have rejected the list of minority leaders released by the Speaker of the House of Representatives Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila. In a press statement by the party's National Publicity Secretary Kola Ologbondiyan, PDP said it has duly written to the Speaker of the House of Representatives after consultation with the minority leaders in House of Representatives. PDP automatically rejected the list released by the Speaker of the House of Representatives notifying him of members who have been selected for leadership positions in the  House of Representatives in line with dictates of the rules and parliamentary practice. However, "to our utter dismay the PDP have discovered that the Speaker have smuggled in names other than those recognised and forwarded to him as leaders of minority in the House of Representatives" the party said. Ruga Establishment: No Part Of South East Would-be Given~ Umahi

The eastern governors have said that no part of eastern region would be available for the federal government Ruga establishment.  The gorvernor of Ebonyi State and chairman of the forum, Governor David Umahi who stated this through his chief press secretary Emmanuel Uzor is quoted as saying, there would be no part of South East that would be given out for the establishment of Ruga. The governor noted that South East has a limited landmass for agricultural farming and therefore cannot accommodate Ruga establishment. Umahi however, proposed for revamping of  grazing reserves that are already existing in the northern parts of Nigeria so as to enhance farmers has access to their farmland.
