2019 AFCON: Nigeria Defeats South Africa ~ Eberechy's Blog


The Super Eagles of Nigeria have defeated South Africa Bafana Bafana in the 2019 Africa Cup of nations (Afcon) with a two goal to one by South African football team.

Nigeria had in the first half through Samuel Chukwueze took the lead against South Africa.

While Bongani Zungu of Bafana was awarded with a goal as VAR rules in favour of Bafana Bafana bringing it to a score of    1-1 In the first half.

However, with the match looking to head into extra time William Troost-Ekong had to force the ball into the bar and gave Nigeria a win in the match.
