Abacha loot: Switzerland returns $322.5m Abacha with $1.5m interest Switzerland have reported the release of $322.5m with $1.5m interest to the Nigerian Government. The Federal government announced reciept of $322.5m from the Switzerland government as part of the looted funds recovered from the late former head of state. The Assistant Director General and head, Global Cooperation Department for Development and Cooperation, Ambassador Pio Wennubst told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in New York. According to Wennubst, Switzerland returned about $322.5m which amounts to (N116.11 billion) to the Federal Government of Nigeria. The Finance Minister,  Kemi Adeosu has confirmed the reciept through her Special Advicer, Media and Communication, Oluyinka Akintunde. Buhari Under Attack Over Lazy Commentg. Nigerians have lambasted President Buhari over his comment that a lot of Nigerian youths are lazy. Fayose, Ekiti State Governor, former vice President Atiku Abubakar, Goodluck Jonathan's aid, Femi Fani Kayode and other well meaning Nigerians as well as the Nigerian youths have criticized President Buhari over his comment on Nigerian youths. 3.1 Magnitude Earthquake Hits near Oregon  Report has it that a 3.1 magnitude earthquake has hit near the Oregon state Capital with no life lost, no property damaged. The U.S Geological Survey confirmed the earthquake hit about 4 miles (6.4) kilometers southwest of Silverton Ore on Saturday the 14th day of March 2018 at 8:45pm.
