3.1 Magnitude Earthquake Hits near Oregon
Report has it that a 3.1 magnitude earthquake has hit near the Oregon state Capital with no life lost, no property damaged.
The U.S Geological Survey confirmed the earthquake hit about 4 miles (6.4) kilometers southwest of Silverton Ore on Saturday the 14th day of March 2018 at 8:45pm.
According to the report, some nearby residents has said that they felt the earthquake, which also struck near the state capital city of Salem.
Meanwhile, experts have said for years, that Oregon and Pacific Northwest are due for catastrophic earthquake with a magnitude of 8.0 or higher.
