Buhari Not In Charge :Accept Responsibility For Bringing The Worst Ruler In Nigeria's History To Power~Omokri Blasts Soyinka
Soyinka was said to have engaged himself in series of protests and critics against the former president, Goodluck Jonathan and campaigned massively for Buhari.
The Nobel laureate have now cleared his view as he doubt that General Buhari is in charge of the country.
Speaking on Thursday, during an interview on PlusTv Africa, Soyinka said the answer to the nation's problem is decentralisation, urging the people to be historically conscious.
In a response to a letter written to Buhari by Umar Dangiwa, a former Military Administrator over the President's lopsided office appointments that kept favouring people of his section of the country.
Soyinka said, firstly he was appalled by the silence that followed this particular revelation.
"I think those who are responsible for this criminal lopsidedness should be punished. It's not sufficient just to discuss it. It's criminal".
"I have said this before. I don't believe there is really anybody in charge in Aso Rock. I'm sorry to say this. I've been studying the trend over the past years and a half and i believe this President is not in charge of this nation, in so many aspect and directions. I'm convinced he's not really in charge". Soyinka said.
This really triggered Renon omokri who was the SA to the President, during the Jonathan's administration to blast Soyinka over his statement as he recalled Soyinka's campaign in 2015 which opposed the re-election of Goodluck Jonathan.
Omokri through his Twitter handle thus stated,
"Wole Soyinka should not complain about General Muhammadu Buhari. He should thereafter apologise and honourably bow out and live out rest of his years preserving his legacy ".
Stressing that Soyinka is not in his thirty something years of age who didn't witness the first General Buhari misrule of 1983-85. He knew Buhari for whathe is yet he campaigned for him.
"Today he attacks him, that is not honourable. Accept responsibility for your project, Omokri said.
