Trouble began when Sabiu Yusuf also known as Tunde who is General Buhari's nephew had returned to his residence located outside the precinct of presidential Villa from Lagos State where he visited his wife who put to bed recently.
It was gathered that the first lady Aisha Buhari and three of her children Zahra, Yusuf and Halima accompanied by some policemen attached to the first lady including Aid-de-camp ADC stormed Sabiu's residence.
They demanded that Sabiu should observe COVID-19 protocols by self isolating himself for 14 days so as not to endanger the first family.
Sabiu had insisted he was not the only aid to travel to Lagos, he said that the new Chief of staff prof. Ibrahim Gambari is in Lagos every weekend till he settles in Abuja.
It was also gathered that Buhari's daughters Zahra and Halima were said to have visited their in-laws when Halima's husband lost his uncle but did not self isolated when they returned to the Villa.
During the confrontation, Sabiu was over powered and could not withstand the men that he ran for his dear life.
On the process of him escaping, the policemen released firearms in the air few times.
He was chased to the house of his uncle Mamman Daura but they did not have access into Mamman's residence, they raided insults and threats before leaving, source said.
Meanwhile, it was alleged that Yusuf, Buhari's son went back to Sabiu's residence early in the morning with a gas tank to burn down his house but Sabiu reportedly was not around.
The is not the first time Buhari's family is putting the nation in a total dismay.
In October 2019. Fatima Daura, Buhari's older nephew accused the first lady Aisha Buhari of attacking the family inside Aso Rock.
Nigerians across the nation have reacted over the ugly incidence and wondered why General Buhari could not fix his home that have kept bringing embarrassments to the country.
It could be argued how insecurity in the country would not worsened when there could be a breach of security in the precinct of Aso Rock villa.
