Suspected Kidnap Kingpin Wadume Who Was Freed By Soldiers Is Re-arrested

Suspected Kidnap Kingpin Bala

The suspected kidnap kingpin Hamisu Bala, popularly known as Wadume who was arrested by the men of Nigeria Police and freed by Nigerian Soldiers on August 7, 2019. Which led to the death of three police personnel and one civilian along Ibi, Jalingo Road, Taraba State has been re-arrested by Nigeria Police.

Wadume during interrogation confirmed that operatives of Nigerian Soldiers attacked the police operatives who were taking him to the headquarters of Nigeria Police Force and freed him.

"On our way, the Army officers attacked our vehicle and opened fire, some policemen lost their lives in the attack".

"The soldiers took me to their headquarters, took off the handcuffs and I escaped ".

"I had remain in hiding before my eventual arrest" Wadume said.
