Breaking: Sowore Reportedly Arrested By DSS




The presidential candidate candidate of African Action Congress AAC, in the last concluded general election in Nigeria  Omoyele Sowore, has been arrested by the men of Department State Services DSS.

Sowore was reportedly arrested at his Ikeja residence in the early hours of Saturday August 3, 2019.

His arrest is suspected to be in connection with his scheduled protest which he tagged as #Revolution now planned to carry out on August 5, 2019.

Sowore posted a distress tweet at the time 1:25 am. His tweet reads "DSS invades Sowore's."

He later added another tweet which indicated that his phone must have been seized from him while he tried to raise alarm over his arrest.

OSUN Decides2018~ INEC Declared Osun Election Inconclusive

With the results officially announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), the Peoples Democratic Party has won with 254,698 votes and closely  followed by the defeated All Progressive Congress with 254,345 votes. Due to irregularities in some polling units in  Orolu local government,  Ife North and Ife south, INEC declared the election inconclusive.
