Breaking: Enugu State Gets New Commissioner Of Police

Enugu State is set to recieve new Commissioner Of Police, as Inspector General of Police (IGP) orders the new CP to restore sanity in the state following the continued killings of innocent citizens ravaging the State.

According to press released by The Nigeria Police Force on August 27, 2019. The IGP M. A. Adamu, NPM, mni, has ordered the immediate posting of CP Ahmad Andulrahman to Enugu State command as commissioner of Police with immediate effect.

Ahmad takes over from CP Suleiman Balarabe who has been redeployed to the force intelligence Bureau, FCID, Abuja, as the CP in charge of Intelligence.

Ahmad, a holder of double master degrees, one in criminal Justice and another in conflict peace and strategic studies, both from the Kaduna State university is also a graduate of Political Science and Administration from the university of Sokoto.

As well, a post graduate certificate holder in corruption studies from the University of Hong Kong.

The IGP has charged CP Ahmad to bring to bear his wealth of experience following the command positions he has held across the federation which includes Kaduna, Bayelsa and Ekiti commands.

He is to leverage on "force policy on community policing and intelligence driven crime fighting strategies towards overhauling the security architecture of the coal rich state".
