Eberechy's blog: Sri Lanka's President To Work On Security forces After Bomb Attacks


Following the bomb blasts believed to be carried out by suicide bombers at Shangri La de hotels and Batticaloa Church on April 20, 2019. Easter Sunday which claimed the lives of not less 320 people leaving about 500 people wounded.

The president of Sri Lanka have vowed to take action by reshuffling the security force.

According to sources, the president is quoted as saying "Our security forces constantly followed them. However, the security forces did not possess enough evidence and clear information to take legal action against them."


"The activities of these people were closely monitored at National Security Council meetings in the past years." The president said.


This series of bomb attacks in the capital city of Colombo involving communists and other innocent victims were said to be the worst attacks the country recorded since the end of its Civil war which lasted for 25 years.

OSUN Decides2018~ INEC Declared Osun Election Inconclusive

With the results officially announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), the Peoples Democratic Party has won with 254,698 votes and closely  followed by the defeated All Progressive Congress with 254,345 votes. Due to irregularities in some polling units in  Orolu local government,  Ife North and Ife south, INEC declared the election inconclusive.
