Nigeria- Africa Most Populous Country Records Its First Case Of Coronavirus In Lagos

The Federal Ministry of Health has on February 27, 2020. Confirmed a first case of Coronavirus (COVID-19) in Lagos State. According to the Minister for Health Dr. Osagie Ehanire, the case is an Italian citizen who works is Nigeria and returned from Milan Italy to Lagos Nigeria on February 25, 2020. " The patient was confirmed by the Virology Laboratory at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital part of the Laboratory Network of the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control". " The patient is clinically stable with no serious symptoms and is being managed at the Infectious Disease Hospital in Yaba Lagos" the Minister said. The  Senior Special Assistant to General Muhammadu Buhari on Social Media, Laurretta Onochie has described the ruling President of Nigeria Muhammadu Buhari as a "Presidebt". Onochie who took to her twitter page to announce the flag-off movement of the Torch of Unity for the 20th National Sports Festival "EDO 2020" that took place at State House, May have mistakenly written President as presidebt.
