Just In: Iran Says It Shot Down The Ukrainian Aircraft Accidentally


Iran has admitted that it shot down the Ukrainian Plane killing all 176 aboard but claimed it was accidental.

According to ISNA News Agency Iran claimed that the Ukrainian jetliner which was shot down shortly after tookoff in Tehran early this week was mistaken for a hostile target.

The aircraft flew near Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corp Military site, from an army statement, IRGC officials will give full details of the crash on state media ISNA said.

The affected Boeing 737-800 is just three months old before it was shot down by Iranian missile in Tehran killing all 176 people on-board.

Iranian government has earlier denied it had fired a missile at the plane where it accused western Government of psychological warfare.
