Enugu/Port Harcourt High Way Not Safe As Fulani herdsmen Attacked Commuters.

As Nigeria's situation deteriorates daily with killings and abduction of citizens seen across the country, the Fulani herdsmen has extended their attack to Enugu/Port Harcourt federal high way as Barrister Eze Chikamnayo recounts his ordeal after encounter with the radical Fulani herdsmen.

According to Barrister Eze through his social media page, this incidence which occurred on Sunday August 4, 2019.  had his vehicle shattered  while the fate of the other vehicle coming behind him was unknown as at the time of this report.

"As I drove from Isuochi to Enugu, the unthinkable happened, this was before UNTH after Awgu junction".

"Suddenly, this hooded person dressed in Fulani Regalia, jumped out from the bush and started shooting at my car. Before i could make anything out of it another three appeard a bit in front and bullets started flying every where. I have been hearing Fulani herdsmen but what I saw yesterday is better imagine than experience".

"The stories I have read on how these guys operate and the Ever Abiding Presence of Jehovah all worked in those few minutes. I was determined not to stop. My staff Prince, who was sitting at the passenger seat literally passed out. As the bullets rained on my car i kept speeding away.

He  lamented how military operatives who was on duty at military check point just a kilometre from the point of the incident could not help the matter after he heaved a sigh of relief and slowed down.

"I told the Army guy what was going on just behind their post. He casually told me that they are aware that the driver in front of me told them".

"I asked him why he was still standing there without making any  move to save the vehicles behind, and he just looked at me blankly and waved me on" he said.

According to Eze, there were over twenty bullet holes in his front fender which some hit directly to the radiator, the sides of the car and the booth while the targeted tyres did not have any scratch stressing that both him and his staff did not sustain injuries.
