Enugu: Catholic Priests Protest Against Iinsecurity As Suspected Herdsmen Shot Another Priest

Enugu State is under pressure as huge number of Catholic Priests stormed the city over insecurity in Enugu State after another priest was allegedly killed by Fulani herdsmen.

Rev. Fr Paul Offu was shot dead on August 1, 2019. Along Ihe/Agbudu road in Agwu local government area of Enugu State.

Rev. Fr Paul Offu hails from Okpatu in Udi. He was the parish priest of St. James the greater parish Ugbawka in Enugu Catholic Dioceses until he met his death at the hands of suspected Fulani herdsmen.

The murder of Rev. Fr Offu has sparked the anger of citizens following the continued killings of priest in Enugu which led to the massive protest seen in Enugu state today.
