Eberechy's blog: Tribunal Declares Adeleke Winner Of Osun Governorship Election

The Osun State Tribunal sitting in Abuja has declared Ademola Adeleke, governorship candidate of the People's Democratic Party PDP winner of the election held in the State in September 2018. The judgement delivered was led by Justice Peter Obiora on March 22, 2018. Adeleke and the PDP, had filed a petition asking the tribunal to declare that he polled the highest lawful votes, and should be declared the winner of the election held on September 23, 2018. In Osun State. While Oyetola, APC and INEC had filed their notice of objection stressing that the petition was incompetent and that the court lacked jurisdiction. Reading the ruling, Justice Peter Obiora held that the returning officer of INEC has no power to cancel the election in seven polling Units on September 23, 2018. Angry Nigerians Slammed Abike Dabiri As She Laments On Low Turnout Of Voters

Former member of Nigeria House of Representatives Ikorodu Constituency Abike Dabiri, A.K.A APC Baby Mama have got it hot from her followers as she took to her Twitter page to explain the situation and voting processes in her polling unit in the March 9, governorship election. Abike have maintained that though, there was low turnout but it was peaceful, calm and orderly. she had cast her vote to get winnings in favour of Jide Sanwo-Olu for governor of Lagos State. she claimed. However, her followers allegedly blamed Abike and the APC in all ramifications of the February 23rd presidential election being the reason for the low turnout of voters.

PDP Raises Alarm Over Military Aircraft in Akwa Ibom

The People's Democratic Party has raised alarm over the Headquarters of Nigeria Army aircraft said to have landed at Victor Attah International airport Uyo at about 5:05 am 9, March 2019. According to reports, military trucks which were already waiting drove close to the aircraft and offloaded unknown materials from the aircraft. The report further said that the Headquarters of Nigeria Army personnel denied Airport Authorities access to inspect the said materials. Available information according to the report said that the plane came from Owerri and will heading to Illorin.
