SAD ~ TONY ANENIH DIES AT 85


Former Minister of Works, Chief Anthony Akhakon Anenih has died at the age of 85.

Information from the family source confirmed that he died on Sunday October 28, 2018. At private hospital in Abuja where he was undergoing treatment for an undisclosed ailment.

Meanwhile, the Peoples Democratic Party PDP have mourned Anenih, says  his death is a "monumental lost"

In a  press release by the party,  the PDP is bereaved following the demise of Anenih.

According to the party, chief Tony was one of the founding fathers, former Minister of Works and housing.

Born in  Uzenema, Arue in Uromi Edo State Nigeria. He is politically known as "Mr Fix It" following his ability to find solutions to every political manipulation and ensuring stability in the nation at large.

PDP has described Chief Anenih as "a great Nigerian, a light bearer, brilliant administrator, fine officer, quintessential nationalist and democratic icon, who made, innumerable sacrifices for the unity, stability and development of our dear nation".
