SPORTS~ Bayern Munich Opens Football School In China

Bayern Munich, a German football club officially announced the opening of an international football school in Taiyuan, the capital city of Shanxi province.

Following the announcement which was made by FC Bayern in collaboration with China Sports futuriy on Thursday 6, September at the Allianz Arena in Munich.

This will be the first world top youth training system in the Taiyuan city. A long term partnership exchange programme in which FC Bayern youth coaches will give regular and intensive training in Taiyuan, while chinese coaches and young players will be sent to Munich for more training.

"Chinese football has enormous potential, and we want to play our part in supporting and promoting development by means of our knowledge and our experience in the youth sector" said Rouven Kasper, managing director of FC Bayern in China.

As China welcomes this development, the party secretary of Shanxi said.

"We are confident FC Bayern as one of the best football clubs in the world, can help to develop football in Shanxi with their expertise and youth policy."
