NEWS ~ Living In A Clean City Doesn't Mean You're Safe From Pollution; UN Environmet warns.

The United Nations Environment Programmes have warned that air pollution endangers health despite clean city.

In a press released on September 10, 2018. The U N Environment said

"Statistically, Nine out of ten people worldwide are exposed to the levels of air pollutants that exceed World Health Organisation safe."

The danger of this health threat shows that for millions of people accross the globe, for every breath, you are sucking in a tiny particles that attack your lungs, heart and brain, which lowers IQs and poses death among them.

"We cant stop breathing. But we can do something about the quality of our air, and global action is growing at all levels. To have any chance of truly clearing the air, however, we need to know our enemy better and what we can do to defeat it." UN Environment quotes.

It is very important to note that air pollution originated from many sources which was broken into ambient (outdoor) and indoor pollutants, such as burning of fossil fuels to generate electrticity for homes businesses and mining industries.

It listed Agriculture as the major source of methan and ammonia. Waste treatment and management, dirty indoor cooking systems, dust storms and volcanic eruption as a major problem in developing world.

According to WHO, around seven million people die each year from exposure to polluted air, both indoor and outdoor.

"2.2 million death attributed to stroke due to air pollution. (2.0 million) contacted heart diseases due to air pollution while 1.7 million death attributed to lung disease and cancer."

Avoid burning trash and dirty cookstoves. Black carbon is deadly, recycle non organic trash. Reuse groceries and dispose trash by local collection.

Wearing of respiratory mask very important.
