NEWS~ KAlCIID Set To Put Together A Book Of Champions Dialogue.

An intergovernmental organization that promotes dialogue to build peace in conflict areas is about to put together a book about dialogue Champions.



Who is your hero?  "We are putting together a book about dialogue Champions and we want to know who you would like to see in it."

Nominate yourself / individual you know has contributed to fostering peace in the community and used dialogue to bridge difference.

"Over the past decade our communities have faced growing poverty,  inequality, terrorism displacement, conflict and violence. Yet despite these challenges, there are individuals and organizations around the world who work tirelessly to foster safe, inclusive and just communities through the transformative power of dialogue."

"Today more than ever, the stories of dialogue heros among us individual agents of hope and change who have committed themselves to fostering peaceful coexistence in their communities need to be heard."

Candidates may be from any country, age group and religious or Ethnic background.

1. Demonstrated leadership in fostering safe, inclusive and just communities of religious and Ethnic difference.

2. An active builder of bridges across communities of religious and Ethnic difference.

3. Firmly committed to reducing discrimination or violence against marginalized communities.

4. Successfully equipping communities in conflict areas with dialogue, medication, or conflict resolution skills.

5. Actively raising awareness locally and or globally about the positive, transformative power of dialogue.

6. Effectively implementing initiatives which promote mutual understanding, peaceful coexistence and social cohesion.
