BREAKING- Kofi Annan Dies At 80

Former Secretary General of the United Nations Kofi Anna has died at the age of 80 years.

His death was announced on Saturday 18, August 2018 in Switzerland by his foundation.

Kofi Annan died after a non specified brief illness

Kofi was the first black African Secretary General of the United Nations and one of the World's most celebrated diplomats. A Noble Laureate and a symbol of Charismatic to the United Nations.

"Kofi Annan was a global statesman and a deeply committed internationalist who fought throughout his life for a fairer and more peaceful World.  During his distinguished Career and leadership of the United Nations he was an ardent champion of peace sustainable development,  human rights and the rule of law. "

"Kofi Annan was a son of Ghana. His wife Nane and their Children Ama, Kojo and Nina were by his side during his last days." The foundation said.

Ihedioha (L) at the Oguta Lake Motel and Golf Resorts  The governor of Imo State, Emeka Ihedioha has visited Oguta Lake Motel and Golf Resort on inspection as part of the effort to rebuild Imo State.
