Ekiti House of Assembly rejected the governorship election held last Saturday, said election was a show of shame.



At the house plenary Tuesday, the speaker of the assembly Kola Oluwawole, described the election as a show of shame where thugs and security personel were openly working for the opposition party, All Progressive Congress APC.

HE alleged that favour were given to declare the winner.

The Chairman House Committee, Samuel Omotoso also condemned the outcome of the election, said the election did not meet all democratic processes.

The Lawmaker called on security agencies to leave Ekiti State and allow business to continue in the state.

The Assembly adjourn their sitting till 8 October 2018.
